... One Year Later

Oh my Goodness, I have missed putting my sassy comments down on a page (or rather) relaying my life events to the unknown web. It has been a very long year. What have you missed? let's see...

1. God called me home to finish up my college degree. (Kicking and screaming)
2. I began babysitting my nephew Will, five days a week. (I used my degree to teach him to say "Becca" when asked, "who is your favorite?").
3. Worked at Rawlinsville Camp Meeting.
4. Fell (Okay, maybe he tripped me) for some goofy amazing guy, who loves me unconditionally and pushes me to be better. (Also, he is twice my size and doesn't take my crap. Well played God, well played).
5. Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Liberty University with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in Interdisciplinary Studies (Interdisciplinary being: Religion, Psychology, and Crisis Counseling. These subjects became of interest to me, after working with Legacy of Hope Foundation).
6. Returned to Honduras to help run the ministry. (only while the Legacy of Hope team and directors went on a strategic planning retreat).
7. Lived through #6
8. Returned home and felt God saying VERY clearly, prepare yourself for a 2018 return with a commitment of 2 years. (but but but ... how? my plan was to work and pay down my loans a lot before returning, isn't that why you sent me home?).
9. Panicked about finances, (I'm only $75,000 in debt post-graduation... the obvious next step is to become a full time, long-term volunteer, right?) panicked some more, got it together, and then panicked one last time before remembering that God has and will always continue to provide.
10. Decided to Obey God. (I simply do not wish to end up in the belly of a fish #seasick #seafood #vomit).

Preparing to return to Honduras as a long term volunteer, So THAT happened

Stay tuned for my mental break downs (I mean) my updates between now and my 2018 departure.
